No Small Plans is the Executive Producer of Slo ‘Mo, Chicago’s party for lovers, uniting LGBTQ+ family with joy generating events since 2011. From club nights and concerts to comedy, Slo ‘Mo aims to create spaces that are affirming, intergenerational and uplift local queer creatives and community.
With a soundtrack that elevates R&B, house, disco and funk of past and present, Slo ‘Mo music events evoke nostalgia and work to honor its musical and queer roots.
In addition to its longtime Third Thursday residency dance parties at the Whistler, Slo ‘Mo has conceived numerous events driven by a mission to bring queer family together, including: Llive concerts, dance, DJ, yoga & cooking classes, variety shows, pool parties, karaoke & trivia nights, New Year’s Eve soirees and numerous Pride celebrations.
