Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) Hearts Chicago

NSP partnered with the MCA to produce a free, two-day affair  honoring the museum’s 50th anniversary with performances, installations, screenings and talks culminating with a sold out performance by rapper Lupe Fiasco. 

The event also launched the museum’s new community space, the Commons, and is also marked by a museum-wide landmark exhibition highlighting the museum's permanent collection of art from 1945 to today. 

MCA Hearts Chicago featured over 200 participating artists spanning generations and area codes, including:
