NSP was entrusted by Navy Pier to present a day of free programming honoring Chicago LGBTQ+ legacy. Queer the Pier: A sonic and visual journey through queer club culture featured live performances that chronicled LGBTQ+ history through nightlife’s legacy, and featured over 50 Chicago LGBTQ+ artists, the largest lineup of Chicago LGBTQ+ artists in all of Chicago’s 2018 Pride programming.

Artists featured included:

Audio Jack of Slo 'Mo, MICHA Música live, Adam Ness & friends like stars Ric Wilson, Tasha & more performing queer club anthems, a queer club fashion show by vintage purveyors Kokorokoko with historical script emceed by Chicago’s Drag Mom Lucy Stoole with live soundtrack by DJ Hijo Prodigo, and headline by the iconic CeCe Peniston. The evening closed with the Aon Summer Fireworks and a classic house set by the legendary DJ Lady D.
